Empowering moms and parents to lead, advocate, and make a difference for families.

PAC dedicated to supporting candidates and family-focused policies.

What do we do?

Elect Moms

We endorse and fund moms running for office at every level, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to win.

Education

We provide free training and group coaching sessions to candidates and aspiring advocates, fostering a supportive community where ideas, strategies, and experiences are shared.

Events

From family-friendly community events to candidate dinners and Instagram Live chats, we bring people together to create awareness and momentum around the issues that matter most.

Partnership and Allies

We collaborate with elected officials, candidates, and organizations to amplify our impact. Through joint fundraising campaigns and shared initiatives, we strengthen the movement to support families and communities.

Advocacy

We champion policies that support families, such as paid leave, affordable child care, the child tax credit, and maternal health.

Why this matters

Moms make up only 6.8% of Congress, highlighting the significant barriers they face in running for and serving in public office.

This lack of representation has real consequences: policies like paid family leave, affordable child care, and maternal health remain underfunded and deprioritized in the United States, where family-focused legislation often takes a backseat.

By empowering moms to lead and supporting parents in office, we ensure the voices of families are heard. Bringing critical lived experiences to the table, they can shape policies that reflect the realities of caregiving, economic challenges, and the brighter future we want for our children.

At Moms in Office, we believe that the voices of moms and parents are essential to shaping a future that prioritizes families and caregiving.

Since our founding in 2019, we’ve been dedicated to removing the systemic barriers that prevent moms and parents from stepping into leadership roles. Whether it’s the lack of funding, limited resources, or the cultural challenges of balancing caregiving and public service, Moms in Office is here to break down those barriers and pave the way for family-friendly leadership at all levels of government.

For me, getting off the sidelines means women making a difference by letting their voices be heard on the issues they care about.

—Senator Kirsten Gillibrand
